Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery

Why ChristianaCare?

The Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (FMIGS) at ChristianaCare provides fellows with a broad and deep clinical and surgical experience with a goal to prepare our fellows as leaders in this field. This two-year program is accredited by the FMIGS Board of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). The program is designed to expand on the basic knowledge of gynecologic anatomy, surgical instrumentation, gynecologic problems with surgical remedy, surgical indications, surgical procedures, and clinical outcomes. The fellows rotate with clinical faculty amongst multiple subspecialists to gain experience in laparoscopy, robotic surgery, hysteroscopy and vaginal surgery.
