Delaware Otologic Medicine and Surgery Fellowship

Why ChristianaCare?

A one-year fellowship training experience is offered to Otolaryngology graduates who are not fully prepared to manage patients with chronic ear disease, otosclerosis, hearing loss requiring implanted devices or complaints of vertigo, vestibular migraine or complex otologic problems like superior canal dehiscence and atypical otologic manifestations of migraine. These concerns can fully be addressed with one additional year of training in a busy otologic practice with a preceptor who has proven teaching ability and is dedicated to creating a rich otologic training experience. Although there will be some exposure to neurotology and skull base surgical procedures, this is NOT an accredited Fellowship for those services. One half of graduates from this program continue in Academic medicine.
