In-depth experience in a transforming technology
Led by Jason Nomura, M.D., RDMS, FACEP, FACP, FAAEM and Jennifer Mink, M.D., ChristianaCare’s Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (EUS) training is nationally recognized as one of the most comprehensive and innovative programs. Rotations in obstetrics, pediatric emergency medicine and in the medical, cardiac and surgical ICUs provide opportunities to use EUS outside of the emergency department. Our EUS fellowship extends the ultrasound training of the Emergency Medicine Residency program.
Residents learn the following EUS applications:
- Trauma/E-FAST*
- Vascular (DVT upper and lower extremity).
- Echocardiography/Thoracic.*
- Testicular.
- Aorta.*
- US Guided Procedures.*
- Gallbladder.*
- Renal.*
- Superficial/Soft Tissue/MSK.
- Pelvic OB/GYN.*
- Ocular Ultrasound.
*Applications recommended by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
