Vascular Interventional Radiology Residency Program

  • The ChristianaCare Vascular and Interventional Radiology department as well as the Diagnostic Radiology department, both fully support and encourage clinical research by the residents and fellows. Over the years trainees have consistently presented abstracts and posters at national and international conferences such as SIR, RSNA, CIRSE, ISET and more. The departments will also support trainees with a travel stipend for conferences in which they are presenting.
  • There is also opportunity to author and publish original manuscripts, as the IR/DR residency lends itself to more long-term projects combined with the high volume and wide berth of pathology that is encountered in the hospital system. There is support by hospital biostatisticians as well as a training program for clinical research provided by the hospital for trainees at no cost.
