Faculty Bios:

Douglas Lienesch

Dr Lienesch started teaching in graduate medical education (GME) in 1992 and started teaching in rheumatology in 2003. He graduated from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1989, followed by internal medicine residency at University of Virginia Health Systems in 1992, and rheumatology fellowship at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 2003. He serves as core program faculty.

Catherine Teskin

Dr Teskin started teaching in GME in 2020 and in rheumatology in 2023. She graduated from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018, followed by internal medicine residency at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC) at Thomas Jefferson University (TJU)/ ChristianaCare in 2021, and rheumatology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2023. She serves as core program faculty.

Devanshu Verma

Dr Verma started teaching in GME in 2015 and in rheumatology in 2018. He graduated from Windsor University School of Medicine in 2014, internal medicine residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in 2018, and rheumatology fellowship at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital and University of Pennsylvania in 2020. He served as the rheumatology fellowship Associate Program Director at West Virginia University where he earned his MBA in Healthcare Administration in 2023 before joining ChristianaCare. He serves as the founding program director for the fellowship.

Amanda Runyon

Amanda Runyon, PharmD, BCPS is a clinical pharmacist that supports the ChristianaCare Rheumatology clinic in her role through the ChristianaCare Specialty Pharmacy. She assists patients with their specialty medications, including medication access, medication and disease state education, and clinical monitoring support.  She obtained her PharmD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her residency training at Cone Health in Greensboro, NC.
