Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship

ChristianaCare offers three appointments each year to the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship. Qualified applicants will have successfully completed three years of postgraduate training in an accredited internal medicine residency program in the United States or Canada prior to starting fellowship. Graduates from medical schools outside the United States and Canada must be certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates to qualify for admission.

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship program selects eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, previous experience, communication skills, and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. The program does not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.

Applicants for positions in the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship must submit their applications via the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) by July 31, and will be chosen through the National Resident Matching Program. Non-ERAS applications will not be accepted, and all candidates must register for the match.
