Clinical Informatics fellows will participate in regularly scheduled informatics conferences, informatics seminars and conferences, information technology or informatics-related “lunch and learn” seminars, Journal Clubs, and Grand Rounds. Fellows will be encouraged to attend nationally prominent informatics conferences, such as AMIA, HIMSS, and local informatics events to learn and to present their own research or experience. Each fellow will conduct one Journal Club session annually and will be expected to conduct at least two sessions related to his or her scholarly activity project. Fellows will be encouraged to contribute to a minimum of one Grand Rounds each year for interested clinical departments.
