Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral degree program in clinical, counseling or health psychology. In our selection of interns, we look for applicants with strong clinical skills, training in evidence-based practice and experience providing services within a medical setting. Required selection criteria include a minimum of three years of training in Ph.D. or Psy.D. program and a minimum of 500 hours of supervised practicum (intervention and assessment) experience. Applications are made through the AAPI which can be found at https://portal.appicas.org/. Enrollment in an APA accredited program is preferred. To assess the fit between an applicant and our training, consideration is given to strength of the application materials and interview.
