Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: I chose Christiana for the community, the people, and the training. I was born and grew up in Delaware, so staying local and serving my neighbors is important to me. I was fortunate to spend time before and during medical school at ChristianaCare, and it has been a spectacular source of mentors and role models. The residents are friendly and extremely bright. Lastly, the training was second-to-none. The attendings are invested in my learning and the range of pathology is amazing.
