The ChristianaCare Administrative Fellowship is a one-year training program offered to students in their final year of, or a recent graduate, of an accredited Masters program in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or a related field.
As a large health system in a small state, ChristianaCare will offer a unique, challenging and diverse learning experience for our fellow. We are engaged in many efforts to transform our health system and meet the health care challenges facing our community and nation. The selected candidate for this role will gain hands-on, project-specific experience, while getting exposure to many elements of our health care delivery system in areas such as our service lines, essential services, medical group, information technology, home health, and others. This work will also include opportunities to interact with key system-wide leaders as we work collaboratively to improve the health of our neighbors across Delaware.
ChristianaCare has three distinct campuses and a large physician network providing the fellow exposure to multi-disciplinary project work that will prepare them for the complexities of serving various communities. In addition to project work, the fellow will attend senior management meetings which will support the understanding of operating as a total health care system. They will also engage in rotations to develop a broad understanding of the integrated health system.
