Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: I chose ChristianaCare because of the family environment that the residents portrayed in addition to the residents’ involvement outside the hospital. I wanted a program that would not only provide me with excellent training but also help to facilitate my involvement in the surrounding community. Serving as an advocate physician that is both active and accessible to the community that I serve is personally imperative; seeing residents within the programs already actively engaging the community with the full support of the program was the decisive factor for me.
