Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: ChristianaCare is one of the premier healthcare institutions in the country. I shadowed in the clinic during my second year of medical school and attended journal club with the internal medicine and med-peds residency programs ad I was amazed by how willing the residents were to teach, how close they were to all members of the care team and I decided that this is the type of nurturing environment which would allow me to grow into being a physician. Delaware is an amazing place that is centrally located, close to my family and next to some amazing cities!
