Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: I have always liked the total care of sick patients which critical care training allows me to perfect. I worked at a trauma hospital prior to medical school and have always loved it. I want to continue this global patient care in my practice with trauma and emergency general surgery. I chose Christiana Care as it was highly recommended by colleagues for training. It is a busy center, and the system offers a lot in terms of courses and adjuncts for educating fellows. This combination sets up anyone to be successful in future practice. Other fellowships offered some but not all of these courses and adjuncts that Christiana does.
