Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
I picked Christiana because it had everything I was looking for in a training program. It is a busy level 1 trauma center and tertiary referral center with opportunities to teach and do research. It keeps open all avenues of general surgery open for me. Most importantly, these were the happiest residents I meet, and the type of people I wanted to train with.
