Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: Christiana Care had everything most important to me - high surgical volume, hands-on experience, academic/community hybrid setting, research support, and excellent clinical training. I knew I would graduate both competent to practice general OB/GYN and well-positioned for fellowship, depending on what career path I choose. Most importantly, I felt both challenged and supported by the people I worked with during my sub-internship. Environment and culture were my top priorities when I evaluated residencies, and I knew this was the best fit for me.
