Conferences and Teaching

General Practice Dentistry Residency Program

Residents’ clinical experience dovetails with the many opportunities they have to learn through conferences, meetings and presentations to faculty and fellow residents.

Residents attend seminars conducted by our nationally recognized staff and guest lecturers on an extensive range of subjects. Treatment planning is a foundation of the program, and residents do case presentations in seminars as part of the periodontal, advanced restorative dentistry and implant programs.

A journal club meets monthly where residents have the opportunity to discuss articles in the contemporary literature.

Residents attend the three dinner meetings of the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration as well as its all-day meeting, where nationally known speakers present. They also attend selected all-day programs sponsored by the Delaware State Dental Society and other organizations.
