About Our Program
The clinical work in this Fellowship will be conducted primarily at ChristianaCare, a 1,000 bed Level1 trauma center situated in northern Delaware, south of Philadelphia and northeast of Baltimore. We serve a general population of 1 million from Delaware, Southern New Jersey, and peninsular Maryland.
Pediatric cochlear implantation is performed at the Nemours Children’s Hospital, a regional pediatric care center affiliated with the Department of Otolaryngology of Thomas Jefferson University and has rotating residents. The expectations are that the clinical Fellow in otology will participate in and conduct some of the monthly otology conferences provided to the Jefferson Otolaryngology residents. These cover a very wide range of topics and will challenge the fellows’ knowledge base and presentation skills.
