Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: I chose ChristianaCare because the Family Medicine program really strikes the perfect balance of pushing residents to do their best while being supportive when they need it. I continue to be impressed with how forward thinking and innovative the program leadership is and find that this sets the tone for the culture within the program. The program allows you to explore your interests within family medicine. I am particularly drawn to the opportunities in underserved populations, outpatient procedures, addiction medicine, LGBT+ care, reproductive health, and OMT.
