Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency Program

Learning and Teaching Opportunities

The ChristianaCare community is passionate about education; faculty and staff maintain a supportive environment that encourages lifelong learning.

With guidance from members of the podiatric faculty, the Podiatric Medicine & Surgery residents hold weekly academic sessions and case discussion, bi-monthly journal club and biomechanics review, as well as quarterly sawbones workshops and cadaver labs to provide both the didactic and the hands-on experience needed to excel.

Resident research is strongly recommended. Resident poster presentations have been accepted to the annual meetings of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS).
