Emergency Medicine/Internal Medicine Residency Program

In-depth experience in a transforming technology

Led by nationally recognized Point of Care Ultrasound faculty, ChristianaCare’s Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (EUS) training is well recognized for its excellence and comprehensive nature. Rotations in obstetrics, pediatric emergency medicine and in the medical, cardiac and surgical ICUs provide opportunities to use Point of Care Ultrasound outside of the emergency department. Our AEMUS Fellowship offers opportunities for further training in Emergency Ultrasound.

By graduation, residents will have received education and training in all the basic EM Ultrasound applications and several advanced techniques as defined by the ACGME, ACEP ultrasound policies, and the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Graduates have easily obtained credentialing during their future careers post-graduation.
