ChristianaCare’s Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program is accredited by the Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) and is designed to provide the knowledge and clinical skills necessary to practice breast surgery in a fully integrated multidisciplinary manor, and to perform image guided breast procedures as well as operative procedures for diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Graduate fellows will be fully prepared to go into practice as a Breast Surgeon in either a community or university environment, to create an integrated breast program or breast center, or to pursue further academic training.
