Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
I feel that Christiana strikes a great balance between being supportive and also encouraging us to become the best versions of ourselves. The people here are incredibly kind, and it truly feels like joining a family that cares deeply for one another both inside and outside the hospital. When I rotated here as a medical student, I was struck not only by how personable and welcoming the residents and attendings were, but also by the enthusiasm and kindness of the nurses, environmental services staff, technicians, and other team members. That experience spoke volumes about the culture of the institution and played a major role in my decision to train here.
