Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
Choosing ChristianaCare felt like a natural fit for me for several reasons. I grew up visiting Delaware often because I have family here, so the area has always felt familiar and welcoming.
ChristianaCare also has a personal connection to my family. My grandfather received care here before he passed away, which made the institution one that I had known and respected long before I applied to residency.
What ultimately made my decision easy was the people. From the moment I interviewed, I felt an immediate connection with the residents and faculty. Everyone was genuine, approachable, and clearly invested in creating a supportive learning environment. It was easy to picture myself training here and growing alongside people who truly care about both their patients and each other.
