Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
I know I want to be an OB/GYN, but I don’t know exactly how I want to practice in the future. For that reason, I wanted a residency program that would allow me to learn as much as possible about general OB/GYN while still preparing me to subspecialize if I choose. Christiana is the perfect mix of high patient volume with diversity of patient backgrounds and pathologies to prepare me for whatever I choose to do after residency. Most importantly, I wanted a program that will support me personally as well as professionally. My interview day with Christiana made it extremely clear how close the residents are to each other and how the attendings are invested in the residents’ success. I could not be prouder to be part of this program and contribute to the incredible work that is done here!
