Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
I chose ChristianaCare because of the people. Throughout the interview process, I felt genuinely supported by faculty and residents who wanted me to succeed and find the program that was the best fit for me. That culture of mentorship really stood out. I was also drawn to Delaware’s unique healthcare landscape, where patients often face barriers to accessing primary and specialty care. Caring for a diverse population with a wide range of medical and social needs makes ChristianaCare an incredible place to train in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.
