Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware:
I discovered my passion for psychiatry during my consult liaison rotation at Christiana as a third-year medical student, where I felt both intellectually challenged and deeply fulfilled supporting patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. When I returned for my sub-I, I felt a genuine warmth from the residents and faculty, and the close-knit community made me feel instantly at home. I knew this was a place where I could grow not only as a physician, but as a person. Plus, being in Wilmington allows me to stay close to my family and friends in Philadelphia and Maryland!
