Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: Selecting ChristianaCare for a pharmacy residency was an easy decision. I was primarily looking for a large academic medical center that had a level one trauma center, as emergency medicine is one of my clinical interests. ChristianaCare checks both of these boxes, and the PGY-1 pharmacy program offers a wealth of educational opportunities throughout the year. When I spoke with the pharmacy team at midyear and throughout the residency application process, everyone was welcoming and it was clear that there is a supportive culture at ChristianaCare. I am looking forward to a great year with my fellow co-residents!
