Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: I was searching for a program that would provide an exceptional, hands-on training experience that embodied the principles of both a community and academic training center. My interview day experience combined with the resident dinner was more than enough to convince me that CCHS was the place for me. Each conversation with the faculty and residents exemplified their commitment to education and developing residents that are not only exceptional clinicians but phenomenal educators as well. Beyond the training, I felt that these were people that I genuinely would fit in with and enjoy working with over the next four years.
