Interests/Hobbies: I am a Foodie. My wife is a foodie. And our little 11-month old is joining in on our foodie antics. When I am not here working, I’m probably wandering the streets of Center City Philadelphia pushing a stroller and getting delicious food.

Why I chose Christiana Care and Delaware: CCHS - I stumbled upon Med-Peds as a second year med student while attending a meeting at Jefferson Medical College.  I was pretty gung-ho Peds from the start of med school, and my buddy dragged me along so we could get free food.  Turns out the meeting had some wonderful docs from CCHS including Dr. Friedland and Dr. Divatia.  Not only did they seem incredibly intelligent and driven, but they were also very down to earth and welcoming. I kept saying to myself, “these are my people.”  As med school carried on, I was determined to learn more about the Med-Peds program at CCHS and felt that it was the right place for me after spending a month here during 4thyear.  From the hospital, the residents & attendings, the strong Med-Peds presence/identity, the patient population, the Med-Peds clinic, and the best coordinator and program director I could ask for in Debbie and Dr. Friedland – this program has it all. The best thing about DE is the shopping. Let’s be real, no sales tax is a huge perk when making a purchase.  Christiana Mall is one of the top-producing malls in the country and has everything you could possibly need. On a less superficial note, the people here are amazing (hospital staff/residents/attendings)
